There is a demand for improving the warm-booting speed, so SKB would like to improve the warm-booting speed by changing the HDMI procedure during warm-booting.
Since it takes 100ms to read the edid during the HDMI procedure of Amlogic, 100ms time gain is expected if the logic of reading the edid is omitted.

[SKB's Request]
- When an HPD event occurs during the sleep mode, that is, when the HDMI cable is detached, a new EDID reading operation is performed to omit the EDID parsing process during warm booting.
- When an HPD event occurs during sleep mode, the Uevent is not delivered to Userspace.
- Wakeup only generates Uevent with Userspace when HPD is High and does not cause Interrupt trigger.

Hi YK,

Does SKB discuss the request with Amlogic Korea FAE ?
The EDID handler is in Amlogic's common directory and I think it is better to modified by Amlogic.

HI Kerwin

Amlogic Korea FAE does not support it.
FXN Smart3 model is different from other manufacturers in the previous HDMI Power state. ( suspend / resume )
INTEK and INNOPIA are also implementing separately.
Please proceed with the implementation of this function in FXN as well.
